Okay so of course Everybody wants success, you know, we wanna be successful
we wanna make a lot of money and this is what a lot of people strive for.
and here is where people would say the success always mean money /no/ what is success? /yes/
it's kind of like okay.. so what do you mean? success in terms of business? or success in terms of life?
exactly /that's it/ and that's why you wanna use the adjective before so do you want financial success? or do you want personal success?
I want personal success
okay cuz in my... there was a story. I love the story
apparently when John Lennon was a school boy. John Lennon from the Beatles. his teacher asked him, you know, 'what do you want to be when you grow up?' /right/
and John Lennon answered 'Happy!' /oh~/
and the teacher was like 'you misunderstood the question' /hahaha/
and John Lennon said 'No you misunderstand Life'
How could a little boy say something like that? wow
and again this story is pretty popular. I don't know if it's true but it's a good lesson nonetheless
and so if even it's not true it makes you think like yeah. what is success? what is it that we are, you know, aiming for in life? right?
because you know what.. I find that if you get to a certain point of success then what?
yeah. so really to have success in life really means personal success. it means fulfillment from the inside out.
yeah and so it's not always about the money but that's where we do focus on a lot of times because you have to survive
well.. in these times, yeah we need money to survive but you know it gets to a certain point, how much do you really really need?
a lot !
Have you ever studied the... oh in psychology there was a... I know you love psychology /I love it/
Maslow's Hierarchy of needs. right? it's basically the need pyramid. on the bottom you had like just your basics
you need shelter. you need food. you need water and then as you get to the top it's with the more freedom that you have the top part of pyramid /narrows down/
and the one thing that people are always shy of is personal fulfillment right? so they have... we all have needs but the hardest need to get is the happiness /the happiness part/ at the top of the pyramid /alright/
well anyway here today we're gonna talk about the success habits of people who... you know, who are successful and basically one of them is never stop learning /great/
so I think that could really beef up feeling and rewarding to keep learning no matter what age you are so and successful people say that is also a part of their success
yeah always reading books if you don't have time to read /learn something new/, listen to audio-books
yeah listen to PE, study English okay.
